Two talented Mayo artists were selected to participate in a recent Macnas Engineers of Imagination initiative. The programme, sponsored by Bank of Ireland, saw 10 of Ireland’s most exciting emerging visual artists brought to Galway for a month-long programme.

This Sunday will see Galway's city streets erupt in a riot of colour, magic, spectacle, mischief, and wild imagination as Port na bPúcaí, the Macnas Halloween parade, winds it way through town.

More than 40,000 people are expected to line Galway's city centre streets to see Port Na bPucaí - The Song of the Spirits, the 2017 Macnas Halloween Parade, which will wind it's way through the streets on Sunday October 29 at 5.30pm.
